The selection process commences with the assessment of the submitted applications. The applications will be reviewed by the Committee within a certain period of time. The number of applicants proceeding to the next stage will depend on the number of applications received. 

The next selection process is the Challenge Day. The Challenge Day will thoroughly assess applicants’ skills through various activities for the whole day. Any applicant who fails to attend will be disqualified without further notification. 

The interview sessions, conducted in both English and Tetum, are the final stage of the selection process. Before the interview takes place, an aptitude test will be conducted. 

Successful candidates will be notified directly by the Committee after the interview. Please bear in mind that the number of selected students will vary every year depending on the offers from the UWC schools and colleges.

Upon the completion of the selection process, the Committee will work with selected candidates and their families to prepare and submit a nomination package to UWC schools that will make the final acceptance offer.
